Overview

Mafia Lodge: The Mafia Island Lodge stands amidst tall palms on a sandy beach in Chole Bay, in the heart of the marine park near Utende village on South coast of Mafia.

Rooms are set among the coconut palms with their own veranda overlooking the bay. They are all self-contained with air conditioning. Twin and double beds are available.

Among the 34 rooms there are 2 family Suites, which are made out of 2 comfortable connecting rooms with one sharing bathroom, each one with its own veranda overlooking garden and sea. They may comfortably accommodate a max of 5 guests.

All our rooms have garden and sea view. Hot and cold water is available 24 hours a day.
The main lodge has a relaxing atmosphere with a large open restaurant, bar and lounge area. Board games, table tennis and volleyball are also available.

Other facilities include a gift shop, laundry service, excursions, snorkelling, sailing and scuba diving.

The cuisine is continental with an emphasis on seafood.
Snacks, sandwiches and bitings are also available.

Butiama Beach Lodge: Relax in a hammock on your spacious verandah as the evening breeze caresses you and the sun gently sets. Each one of our bungalows is beautifully furnished with our unique furniture – hand crafted from the sun and sea-kissed hardwoods of retired sailing dhows, and decorated with kikois – charming, colorful hand woven cotton sarongs. Kimbilio Lodges :located on Jimbiza beach in Kilwa Masoko Bay, just on the waterfront, in one of the most beautiful and still unspoiled corners of the world. The beach is candid white, and water is crystal clear.
Kilwa is a paradise for diving – see Underwater Excursions, yet its location is also ideal for Excursions in the inland: infinite variety of wild life can be admired by the comfortable car trips we organize.

Having only few bungalows ensure a spacious and friendly environment, maintaining the African flavor of space and freedom for leaving the environment to be the leading feeling.
The bungalows are round circled with real African makuti (thatched) roof, very spacious and able to hosting from one to four guests.
The inheritance of the African feeling has been preserved, although comforts do not lack.
Each bungalow has its private sea view on the Lodge white sand beach.
In the Restaurant-Bar-Lounge, round circled as well, with the connected beach deck, you can find cold drinks, cocktails, international and specific Italian specialties, and on top of all, an atmosphere you will never forget.

Kilwa Pakaya Hotel

Overview

Pakaya Hotel: offers accommodation in Kilwa Masoko. Each room at this hotel is air conditioned. All Rooms have a private bathroom. The hotel has a barbecue and a private beach area. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Free private parking is available on site. Bike hire and car hire are available at this hotel and the area is popular for snorkeling. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including windsurfing and diving. Saadani Safari Lodge

Overview

Saadani Safari Lodge: is small and intimate with 9 individuals cottages set along the beach, cooled by soft ocean breezes and shaded by Cachexia trees. Cottages are with swathes of sail cloth adorning the ceiling, large romantic Zanzibar style and locally carved furniture. Each is fully en suite (hot & cold water) and has unrestricted view on to the ocean with a full length verandah.

Vagabond Lodge

Overview

Vagabond Lodge: The resort is built close to the beach on an area of 76,630 square meters with a beachfront of 380 meters. The uncontaminated nature isn’t just inside the Saadani reserve: nature abounds all around the Vagabond lodge and the proximity of the national park guarantees the presence of all sorts of wildlife.
The beach in front of the resort is endless and not crowded. At low tide walking near the coral reef you can see all types of marine life: fish, sponges, seashells, anemones, sand stars, crabs and even lobsters.
