Overview

Vagabond Lodge: The resort is built close to the beach on an area of 76,630 square meters with a beachfront of 380 meters. The uncontaminated nature isn’t just inside the Saadani reserve: nature abounds all around the Vagabond lodge and the proximity of the national park guarantees the presence of all sorts of wildlife.
The beach in front of the resort is endless and not crowded. At low tide walking near the coral reef you can see all types of marine life: fish, sponges, seashells, anemones, sand stars, crabs and even lobsters.

An elegant structure built around a great Baobab tree, in Arabic/colonial style, characterized by wide arches and 1st floor rooftop with a wonderful sea view. Here you will find the reception, boutique, bar and restaurant area. The 2 kitchens, modern and traditional, with firewood oven for pizza, offering International, Italian and Ethnic cuisine.

Mufindi Highland Lodge

Mufindi Highland Lodge: There are 10 cozy wooden chalets with either twin or double beds. With homely decoration and an en-suite bathroom, guests will immediately feel relaxed. Surrounded by tea plantations, montane forest and rural villages, the area is away from any tourist route and maintains a natural charm. The cabins are built from responsibly grown timber and the rocks are all local. Meats, dairy products and organically grown vegetables are all produced on the working farm.

The Chalet completes the accommodation with 2 huge bedrooms each with bathroom with shared upstairs lounge and balcony.
All of our chalets open out to stunning views across the valley, and are generously spaced out across the hilltop.

Rufiji River Camp

Rufiji River Camp: The tented camp, situated in the heart of the reserve, is environmentally friendly and each tent is equipped with private bathroom and a veranda facing the river. The tents facing the sunset, with comfortable beds, walled en-suite facilities, mosquito netting and all of the comfortable equipment of a lodge. Each tent has a private veranda under a roof of local straw (makuti) that creates the perfect place for reading, writing or just resting in the shade.

The tented rooms are raised up slightly on earth mounds, overlooking the floodplain and the lake.
These mounds are covered in vegetation, and feel quite natural, and each one has been sited under its own cluster of shady doom palm trees.

Lake Manze Tented Camp

Overview

Lake Manze Tented Camp: Twelve Meru style walk-in tents, each with twin or double beds, flush toilet, outdoor shower and private veranda, are perfectly situated in the Selous Game Reserve, on the shores of Lake Manze.
The Lake Manze area is one of the richest for game in the entire Selous, both in the dry and wet seasons.

There is a cool and shady thatched lodge with a dining area and a sitting area, overlooking the lake.

The camp maintains simplicity – there are no extra frills here.
