4 Days Udzungwa & Mikumi safari package: is ideal safari for the experience Game Safari & Hiking.

The Udzungwa Mountains National Park is a sumptuous forested reserve, a rare tropical forest that is home to a realm of unique plants, birds and animals & the sacred preserve of hikers and walkers. These forests are remarkably unspoiled, a wilderness of extremely beautiful woodland routes – with no driving tracks at all, brings walkers to the spectacular 170 m drop of Sanje Waterfalls. The park is a home of an important population of primates (10 species- more than in any of Tanzania’s other parks) as well as the grey faced sengi.

Mikumi’s landscape provides a serene wildlife experience, commonly seen animals Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, Antelope, Wildebeest, Eland, Crocodile, Hippo, Baboon. If luck is in your favor, you won’t miss to see Lions & ultimately the Leopard. Mikumi inhabits over 300 species of birds namely saddle bill stork, hammer kop, malachite kingfisher, lilac breasted roller, yellow throated long claw, battler eagle etc.

4 DAYS UDZUNGWA & MIKUMI SAFARI PACKAGE ITINERARY.

Day 1: Dar es salaam to Mikumi - 6 hrs drive

Meet & greet in Dar es salaam at 0700 hrs & drive to Mikumi with lunch box. Late afternoon game drive with sunset view & watch the animal’s drinking water at hippo pool. Overnight at Camp Bastian on FB basis ( Lunch & Dinner).

Day 2: Mikumi to Udzungwa to Mikumi - 1 hr drive

After breakfast, drive to Udzungwa for hiking till Sanje Falls with lunch box. Enjoy swimming at the in the cool water hole at the base of the falls. Drive to Mikumi. Overnight at Camp Bastian on FB basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 3: Mikumi

Full day game drive with lunch box . Overnight Camp Bastian on FB basis (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 4: Mikumi to Dar es salaam- 6 hrs drive

Drive back to Dar with lunch box & drop off to Hotel, Airport/ Seaport (Breakfast & Lunch). END OF SERVICE. Additional activity If interested & have enough time: Maasai Walking tour can be arranged, 45 minute walk one way, spending 1 hr in Maasai Village with their morning activities like milking cow etc . Depart at 0600 hrs & expect toreturn back by 0930 hrs & depart back to Dar es salaam with lunch box. The additional cost : Usd 20 per Pax

50% to be paid upon confirmation of availability of accommodation, as required as commitment & also to pay advances to the Lodges as to block the rooms

50% Balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival
